MP44 Pliolite Spray Coating is supplied ready to use, but may need re-mixing using a suitable paddle mixer to regain correct consistency for application.
Note: MP44 may stiffen on standing. Re-mix the product to regain a workable consistency but do not add more than 5% S62 Diluter.
To avoid dampness and discoloration application should be avoided below DPC or within 150mm of ground level.
Apply using suitable spray equipment. Spray gun tip should be held at a suitable distance from the wall to avoid overloading of material and “bounce back”. Hold spray gun at right angles to wall at all times. Use either horizontal or vertical motions and overlap on each pass of the gun by 30% to ensure even appearance.
Avoid heavy build-up of material when overlapping. To avoid overlapping marks, a wet edge should always be maintained, avoid starting and stopping midway on a wall, continue to spray until a natural break, such as a downpipe or corner is reached.
Specification Clauses relating to this product can be found in NBS Section M20 Rendering. BS 5262 Code of Practice for External Rendering and BS 8000-10 must be followed.
