Modern Day Stucco Rendering

The latest incarnation of original

Stucco exterior render

has seen the introduction of synthetic binders such as polymers to effectively negate the low breathability and rigidity of the Portland Cement used in traditional stucco rendering .Natural colour pigments are also  added during manufacture and are fixed with titanium dioxide so avoiding UV damage and fading.

Wethertex Stucco-type render is usually applied in two or three coats, is pre-coloured and is flexible enough to not need any metal or wire mesh embedded into the base coat to stop cracking. It is also suitable for most surfaces such as brick, block or timber frame and comes in a wide range of colours.
