The Wetherby Render System

The original Wetherby exterior rendering system was first used by Wethertex UK in 1975. As a founder member of the Wetherby Group of Companies our famous resin and glass fibre renders are still manufactured in a state of the art, robotic factory in Wetherby,North Yorshire.

The unique combination of Pliolite Resin, Portland Cement and Alkali Resistant Glass Fibre Strands mean that our Wetherby GRC render is perfect for new builds of any construction type as well as being unsurpassed if the need is to renovate damaged brickwork. It is microporous so will resist water penetration but crucially still allow the walls to breathe and so eliminates many damp problems.

bolt and mesh rendering

We recognise that a “one system fits all” approach is not possible and so we have developed a multi-layer rendering process so we can successfully cover and protect a whole range of surfaces from Beko Block to spalled Victorian brickwork.

As well as straight forward two pass rendering, our Wetherby Rendering range  also includes an embedded mesh system. For extreme crack resistance and anchorage we offer a heavy duty mesh and nylon spit bolt system as featured in the photo opposite.

Render Finishes Available

The Wetherby Render System from Wethertex UK can be finished in our quality resin masonry paint or one of our maintenance-free and coloured textured wall coatings. Our renders are also suitable for use in external solid wall insulation systems.

We offer a free quotation service for both the home-owner and commercial clients and can supply colour samples and Data sheets upon request.
