We are delighted to announce that our chosen charity for 2022 is Burrow Seven!
We have been following the legendary Leeds Rhinos Rob Burrow’s story and we are pleased to share that we are a corporate partner of the Burrow Seven Campaign for 2022, supporting the Leeds Hospitals Charity and MND Association!
There are a number of reasons why we have chosen to support Burrow Seven. As a business, we are very much about supporting local people and local businesses. So, when the opportunity arose to support our local lad Rob Burrow, our local hospital the Leeds Hospital Charity, our local rugby team Leeds Rhinos and local horse trainer Jed O’Keefe and Burrow Seven we just couldn’t resist.
Secondly, horse racing has an important place in our company’s history. Back in 1974, when we first laid our roots and began manufacturing, our chosen place to call home was Wetherby. Also, one of the racing hotspots in North Yorkshire, this beautiful town also influenced the Wetherby in the name of our parent company the Wetherby Laroc Group. As the business grew, we had to make the difficult decision to uproot and relocate which sees us operating today from the racing hotspot Thirsk.
We are looking forward to supporting this great cause and watching the little superstar Burrow Seven progress in his racing career!
