Painted Brick

Bricks are generally painted to keep water out. When a property has had bricks painted it is normally a clear indication that the bricks have lost their integrity and begun allowing moisture in.
If the wrong type of paint is used this “seals” up the building and causes the interior to “sweat”. Mould growth usually follows.
Once a property has been painted it will continually need redecoration every 2 – 3 years. The more times it is painted the more the “sweating” problem will become evident.
Other common problems:
Pebble Dash :: Blown Brickwork :: Spray Coatings :: Tyrolean :: Cement Render
Wethertex™ has a range of systems that will eliminate these problems.
